Privacy Policy

Last updated · July 31, 2026

This Policy explains what information Make3DMap handles when you create a scene, upload an asset, talk to the Map Agent, publish a map, embed it, remix it or export it.

01

Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to Make3DMap, a service operated by Holymolly Ltd and its affiliates (collectively, “Make3DMap,” “Tripo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). It covers the Make3DMap website, applications, APIs and related services. A linked third-party service has its own privacy practices.

02

Information we collect

Depending on how you use the Service, we may collect:

  • Account information: your account identifier, name, email address, profile information, authentication-provider information and session data.
  • Maps and creative content: map titles, selected locations, coordinates and bounds, terrain and scene settings, routes, labels, markers, uploaded images or 3D models, thumbnails and associated file metadata.
  • AI interactions: prompts, instructions, map context, conversation history, generated content and feedback associated with AI-assisted features.
  • Public activity: author name, published maps, share and embed identifiers, remixes, hometown-game content, and aggregate view, remix or guess counts.
  • Technical and usage data: IP address, browser and device information, request timestamps, referring pages, feature interactions, diagnostic data, security events and server logs.
  • Communications: information you send when you request support, report content or otherwise contact us.
03

Cookies and local storage

We use cookies and similar browser storage where necessary to keep you signed in, protect the Service, remember map drafts and selections, preserve editor or conversation state, and avoid counting the same interaction repeatedly. You can control cookies and local storage through your browser, but disabling them may prevent parts of the Service from working.

04

How we use information

We use information to:

  • provide, authenticate, operate and maintain the Service;
  • save maps, assets and conversations and carry out your requests;
  • publish, share, embed, remix or export content when you choose those actions;
  • generate AI-assisted responses, map changes and 3D content;
  • measure usage, troubleshoot errors, improve features and develop new ones;
  • detect fraud, abuse, security incidents and violations of our Terms;
  • respond to support requests and service communications; and
  • comply with law, enforce agreements and protect users, the public and our rights.
05

AI and third-party processing

When you use an AI-assisted feature, relevant prompts, map context, conversation content or uploaded reference material may be sent to AI, search or 3D-generation providers so they can return the requested result. Do not include sensitive personal information in prompts or uploads unless it is necessary and you have the right to provide it. A provider may process that data under its own terms and privacy policy.

06

How we share information

We may share information with:

  • Service providers that support authentication, databases, hosting, storage, content delivery, mapping, elevation, search, AI generation, security and support.
  • Other users and the public when you publish, list, share, embed or permit remixing of a map. Public content may be indexed, copied or reshared outside the Service.
  • Authorities or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, investigate abuse or enforce our agreements.
  • Business transaction participants in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets or similar transaction, subject to appropriate safeguards.
07

Public maps and content

Maps are private to your account unless you publish them or otherwise choose a public sharing option. A public map can expose its title, author name, scene content, location, routes, labels, markers, thumbnail and uploaded assets through a share page, embed or community listing. Avoid publishing home addresses, precise personal locations or other information you do not want others to see.

08

Data retention

We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the Service, preserve account and public-sharing functionality, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements and protect the Service. Retention periods vary by data type and context. Deleted or unpublished material may remain for a limited time in backups, security logs or records required by law. Public copies shared by others may remain outside our control.

09

Your choices and rights

You can choose whether to publish or list a map and can manage certain account, map and asset information in the Service. You may also clear browser storage through your browser settings.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to certain processing of personal information, or receive a portable copy. You may also have a right to appeal or complain to a local regulator. To make a request, contact us using the address below. We may need to verify your identity.

10

Security

We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls and protections for data in transit and at rest where appropriate. No online service is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee that information will never be lost, misused or accessed without authorization.

11

International data transfers

We and our providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Where required, we use recognized safeguards for cross-border transfers, such as contractual protections or other lawful transfer mechanisms.

12

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13. If local law sets a higher minimum age for consent to online data processing, a child below that age may use the Service only with valid permission from a parent or legal guardian. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information without the required permission.

13

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service or legal requirements change. We will post the revised Policy and update the date above. If a change is material, we may provide additional notice through the Service or by other appropriate means.
